Sheffield based country music band The Hanks have been out on the British circuit for since 2003. This popular three-piece comprises of Pete “Hank” Goddard on lead vocals and lead guitar, Chris “Hank” Turner on bass and harmony vocals and Dave “Hank” Burgess on drums.
A professional country trio, with constant favourable magazine reports and repeat club bookings due to their popularity with the audiences.
All of them are experienced musicians, having performed the majority of musical styles throughout their careers. It is the Country Music scene that they are now most enjoying. They travel the whole country, proving very popular at all the clubs they appear at and the many festivals that they have been to. They have their own style of country music, covering the more traditional material from legends such as Hank Williams, and Johnny Cash, but also include numbers by Alan Jackson, BR549, The Mavericks, Hal Ketchum and Heather Myles – to name but a few.
